About us
At The Creel Yard, we believe that travel should be accessible to everyone. We provide unique and affordable accommodation allowing travelers to experience the beauty of this remote and enchanting destination. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that every guest has a memorable stay, filled with adventure, relaxation, and authentic experiences.
A Creel is a lobster pot. The Creel Yard was once an area where the local fishermen stored their Creels in Winter. The site became redundant and I purchased it in 2018. The pods are my own design and we have gradually built the site to what it is today.
Grimsay is a working island and we live here all year round. The weather can be extreme and therefore everything we build is built to last and cope with the winter!!!
